Very beautiful views up the peak, this is a historical place, one of geopark of yogyakarta, ancient volcano, you will get to the peak about 1.5 hour from the starting point, be careful cause the terain is steep, the sign board are noticeable thought, i suggest to bring drinks, and use running shoes istead reguler. Good destination to start a trip

Sunrise at the top. Wonderful view all around. If clear sky you can see everything including the Mr Merapi (closed since 2018).nVery nice place to hike and chill at the top. Quick hike about 25-30min. 45-60min normal time.nnTips for the hiking : doing at night, bring flashlight at it is not provided at the counter before the start. Also good physical condition. Some places are quite tight and slippery, including bamboo scale and just a rope to help keeping the balance.nnIf you're lucky you might encounter some monkey families further down, but they are not getting close to humans.
