Part of Royal Klang Town Heritage Walk, a heritage building. The galery is not big, but has some interesting artifacts. Good to bring kids there, other than history, can learn about fire fighting. It's good to have a guide to narrate the history of this station and stories. Great effort by the fire fighters.

One of the few fire stations in town that has an actual gallery that the public can visit. Although it's a fairly small exhibit, when one arrives, check out the fire suits, and gear, and try out the rotating air siren. Check out also some of the fire fighting equipment and take notice of the fire proof huge safe in the inner room where it was said hadn't been opened for close to 100 years. Take some time to visit the fire trucks parked outside the gallery also. If one hears a strong siren, then steer clear of the driveway as they respond to emergencies in under 1 minute and it would be such an amazing experience to see the team in action. Over all, it's a small station, drop by if in the vicinity.n#letsguide

This place was part of the Klang Heritage Walk on Saturday, 21 April 2018 with the starting point at Galeri DiRaja Sultan Abdul Aziz. It was just about 300 metres from the Klang KTM Commuter Station. This old fire station was still in use and situated.in the middle of the town next to Little India. It was interesting as it was like a small fire brigade museum with several pieces of fire-fighting equipment including a bicycle displayed at the station. At the entrance was a hand-driven siren which was still in working condition. It had to be turned rapidly to generate the loud sound of the siren..The building dates back to the 1890s.

Nice old building, worth a walk around this old city and enjoy the rustic feeling.
