Like a dream... 4 lonely huts at a beach on an else inhabited island. Ira and Vicki are so nice and authentic! Bring your mask, snorkel and your fins, the reef is amazing!

If you ever dreamt about spending some time at a deserted, tropical island Ira Bungalows is definitely the place to go. Ira and Viki were so kind and welcoming, it was hard to leave. Keep in mind that it takes some effort to go there, but it's definitely worth the trip. Pulau tambarat is one of the most amazing places i've ever been. Totally recommended!

Ira and Vicky have created a true tropical paradise on Pulau Tambarat, an uninhabited island with palm trees, pristine beaches and four romantic bungalows. Ira is the best Indonesian cook I have ever met and she takes great care and pride in cooking dinner and lunch, which were different and delicious every day. When we arrived late in the afternoon and lunch time was over, she didn’t mind making us lunch because we didn’t have any on the boat. Vicky and Ira are wonderful hosts and arranged everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them and highly recommend their place. Our teenage boys liked it as well, because of the snorkelling and jungletrekking, and the ball games they could play there. Last but not least, we saw wonderful wildlife there as well: loads of crab, tropical fish, snakes, a lobster and our neighbours spotted a varaan as well
