Moon Beach Resort

Have been surfing a lot of other islands in the Indonesian archipelago and I found Moon Beach Resort one of the worst.The lack of good hygiene and quality food was the main issues with the resort. Also the waves aren't the best, not a lot of places to surf. Security was also a problem. Spoke to other guests they weren't very happy either.nSo I would advise to go somewhere else.

A place that truely accommodates for the surfers needs. Surfing remote places without the hassle of crowded waves. Moon Beach have delivered a lifetime memory with my 11yo son and our friends.

Thanks Moonbeach, We have just had a fantastic surf trip 33 days March /April. Jay (14) and Dad could not have asked for anything better, we had sick waves, great wholesome food a mix of indo and western, rooms are clean, tide and serviced very day.nNick, Tomas and Wilzen have extensive knowledge of the Island, loved sitting back at dinner looking at swell/wind direction and the crew saying “let’s try here tomorrow”. Looking for waves is all part of the trip, getting the payoff will keep us coming back.nMBR has a great feel about it, the resort, (we’ll it did feel like home in the end) is clean and well maintained. Polly is a champ and must know everyone in Simeulue, you’ll know what I mean when you met him.nCrowds where low surf was great we couldn’t ask for anything more.nSee ya next year MoonbeachnDamo Jay
