Somehow, this reservoir helps Lhokseumawe from the flash flood during rainy season. But, the performance of this reservoir is not yet optimum due to the absence of excellent drainage system in the city. In addition, the opening of this reservoir for tourists also worsening the condition. Small number of trash bin and no waste control make this reservoir so filthy thus causing really bad smell in the area. However, the reservoir offers a good scenery of Lhokseumawe and surroundings.

The place is nice but you will smell some not very nice aroma around there
