Hotel Tuk-Tuk Timbul

Pros : very cheap, direct lake view in front of the bungalow, clean room, very serene chill vibe, the fried rice is good, hot waternnCons : no ammenities at all in room besides towel, the facilities on the hotel are run down, no WIFInnWe ended up staying 4 nights in this hotel ud83dude01nnIf you can get the traditional batak bungalow, it is a nice wood bungalow

The bungalows are all located along the lake shore. You can even catch a ferry directly from Parapat to the bungalows. It was fairly cold 24c during our stay in January which is the warmest season. Hot water showers are really nice, you want that in a hotel here. The food at the hotel was really good and very cheap. We ate at the restaurant many times on our 3 night stay.

The atmosphere is simply lovely. It is tucked away from the main road in Tuk Tuk town filled with green and quite. Best thing is their cooking - very homey and simply delicious! Our favorite were the dishes with yogurt, pancakes and sandwiches !

Nice and comforting hotel. The lake is in front of your room. The small restaurant at the lobby also nice because it facing the lake. I recommend this hotel!

They have the perfect angle at Samosir. The service is good. The rooms are comfortable. The view is nice. It's recommended. But I suggest you better not to depend at the cafeteria for foods, if you wanna save your money.
