SIBAYAK GUEST HOUSE (TUKTUK - LAKE TOBA)

Basic and cheap. Adequate for a few days stay, Try for an upper tier room as they have hot water. Property is situated right on the lakeside, and rooms have balconies overlooking the water. Guest house is built on the side of a cliff, so the rooms are at bottom whilst there is a basic bar and food service at street level. Stairs are steep.nnSeveral restaurants and cafes within short walking distance and an internet cafe across the street.nnSit out area and ferry pickup point in lakeside garden.

For the price that our room was it wasn’t bad. There was some dirt on the floors and walls but the sheets and towels were fine. The shower was broken so we had to hold the shower head up with our hands when showering. The view from the restaurant of the lake is amazing and you can see the sunset from there. Breakfast wasn’t included in the room price but it wasn’t expensive and there was a wide variety on the menu.

Really good place with best view in Tultuk, can see the waterfall. I stayed there many times during last two years. Vito the owner is nice guy too

spacious room, very helpful front counter but the room is very basic,. no towel, no soap and no hot water., the room itself look old.. however we are really lucky that this place still open because the local here seems like they sleep early ..initially, we made a reservation at another guesthouse but turn out the hotel already closed when we arrived at around 10pm... however the view is amazing.

Very enjoyable.. Exceedingly good service. Excellent WiFi.. beautiful view of the lake and beyond.. quiet and Indonesian style accommodation.. highly recommend it for those who want space ( large room and bathroom) and all necessary amenities at superbly affordable price.. I was here last year also and will return
