I returned for a second time to privately owned Hotel Deli River in April of 2019 because of my excellent experience 3 years ago. This boutique type hotel is nestled in small hill area outside busy Medan center. Very customer oriented, very clean and modern rooms with AC and WiFi, very good Indonesian and Western food, very reasonably priced and more. Will book again for my next trip. Trijaya Travel provides excellent travel services through most islands. Highly recommended.

I am a secondary school Indonesian teacher who regularly organises and runs overseas adventures for groups of students. I have used big travel companies for these trips in the past, but they have never had the level of commitment and care that I received from Tri Jaya Tours. They communicated quickly and clearly in the lead-up. We made our own itinerary and Tri Jaya’s advice was constructive and supportive. This tour involved 20 people over two weeks, with a short stay in Bali then a Sumatran road trip (Tangkahan, Bukit Lawang, Berastagi, Lake Toba, Medan). We had to make some changes throughout the trip and Bu Diana and her team were always patient and thorough. We were greeted at Medan airport by the team in traditional dress and were farewelled with a wonderful celebratory dish of nasi tumpeng – we felt very special! Our guide, Idris, was knowledgeable and helpful. Our drivers, Karyo and Rudi, were patient and we always felt safe. North Sumatra is a wonderful place to visit and Tri Jaya Tours makes that experience even better. We asked for help in minimising our plastic bottle usage, and were able to refill our bottles from our own supply on the bus (every bit helps!). Terima kasih banyak!
