Sambisari Temple

Is an old temple, small, clean and quite organized. If you're in to this kind of stuff it's worth a visit. The highlights of this place (for me) that it is surrounded with good places to eat.

Very small compared to Prambanan, but this is far away from tourist trap. The road is not particularly wide, bus small bus could get here okay. Bring your umbrella, it could get very hot under the sun in the open. All in all, this is a great place for a quick visit.

Sambisari templehas started open for public in late August. You can enjoy Hindu temple with several healthy protocol. Keep safe and traveling

Other than the major names, Sambisari is among the very first temples that made me love to have a quick visit to a temple. Duri pandemi it opens from 9am to 3PM

Nice to visit. Historic place. The difference from other temples is you must walking down to reach the temple. Maybe it was buried so deep down in a long time ago. You can also have a little picnic in around this area, not near the temple of course. But don't forget to throw your garbage in the trash bin which prepared in there.
