Nice place for lunch. The food is quite well cooked, decent taste and not too salty. Food is more Chinese style, and not too salty. Price is similar to Singapore so not really cheap even though that is Indonesia.

Service was slow, waited 1 and a half hours for 7 meals to arrive. First person was done eating by the time the second dish came. Would not recommend unless you have plenty of time to burn. Furthermore a rat fell from the ceiling and ran around the restaurant near the end of our meal. Food quality was decent though.

Food taste fabulous but the chef is really testing your patience level. Recommendable for those guys who possess extreme patience.

Staff attitude is good and polite. But the food is ... horrible. Had a one night stay at the grand lagoi hotel so nearby places for us to visit is very limited. We went to the plaza lagoi and unfortunately there is only one restaurant operating. That is cafe helo helo. Had no choice, order chicken wings $4, tomyam soup $19, beef steak $15 and a vanilla mango smoothie. All in SGD. First, the chicken is very hard to chew, it tastes just like it’s been re-fried like an overnight food. Secondly, the tomyam soup, tastes like tomato soup instead, seafood in the soup are extremely stinky and not fresh. Yet it cost the most expensive $19. Even more pricey than it is to have it in Singapore, suppose to have fish instead but they use chicken meat. Totally not worth the price. Beef steak tastes decent at least but it took quite awhile for it to be served. overall this restaurant is really not recommended. The vanilla mango smoothie, worst. The mango used is syrup instead of real mango and it cost you $6sgd. Lol

The garlic chicken here should be more honestly described as ‘deep fried chicken bones’. It was a revolting dish and when I complained about it the waitress did not show any courtesy by acknowledging the problem. It’s unfortunate that my meal was spoiled by this as the other two dishes I ordered were perfectly fine.
