Museum Kehutanan Manggala Wanabakti is a very good museum. As the name implies, the Manggala Wanabakti Forestry Museum is a museum with theme of forestry. Tropical forest in Indonesia is actually very rich ecosystem. In this museum, a collection of various types of wood that can be found in the forests of Indonesia, such as teak, meranti, and others. There also be various types of forest products. The collections are placed and packaged in such a way that they look attractive. Interestingly, despite exhibiting forestry products and cut down trees, there is also a section that calls for maintaining and maintaining the existence of the forest. On the second floor, there are not as many collections on the first floor. There are photos along with an explanation of the various types, and types of forests that exist on Indonesian soil. There is also a room that functions as an information center and library. Another unique feature of the Manggala Winabakti Forestry Museum is the museum inside the museum. On the first floor, there is a small room that is made into a mini museum, namely the Jungle Fighters Museum. Because it only occupies a small room, it is not much is exhibited. There are photos of veteran fighters and copies of award certificates and books about the fighters. Overall, it is very interesting, a very unique features in Indonesia.

This two floors museum is good for its artifacts' description (in English & Bahasa). However nobody greeted us in the front desk, no staff responsible except a cleaning guy who was quite friendly. Talking cleaning, the museum is clean and cool, supplied by some big air coolers. Conclusion, all is good for a forest knowledge seekers.
