In the colonial era of the Dutch East Indies, this building was located at Dr de Vogel weg (jln Dr de Vogel), now known as Jalan Bhayangkara.nAccording to some sources, this building is the residence of a Dutch notary named H Schottel.nPerhaps, the Police, as the owner of this building, can use it to become a kind of restaurant, cafe or gallery, so that people can enjoy the historical heritage of colonial architecture which is part of the history of Indonesian architecture.
