Aquaboom Waterpark

It’s not a very good water park at all. First of all when me and my friend went there we asked for a cabana, once we got our cabana there were only plastic mattresses to lay on, quite a rip off for the amount of money we payed. Moving onto the rides, there were only 2 open for the public. The other slides were either being renovated or weren’t open for the public due to the fact that staff didn’t bother to turn the water on. Staff are very ignorant too, whenever we would ask for service they would just walk right past us without a second thought, also the staff thought me and my friend were 20 years old (although we were 12) and didn’t allow us to go to the kiddy section just to have a bit of fun. Great Place For Children. Too pricey for me. On June '18 on high season each people cost 150K (swimming or not). Little Cabana (for sit and rest) cost 300k. I have 3 children and a spouse, imagine how much I have to spend.

Bring your money elsewhere. With entrance cost at IDR 90k/person for weekdays and 120k on weekend (let alone peak season at IDR 150k/person) the waterpark doesn’t really worth the price considering it is a rather compact park if not small, and the lack of service. Seems that locals were enticed to it as either it is the newest in town or they don’t have other alternatives. If you’re staying in the apartment, they got free pass to the waterpark for 4 person with additional persons at 50% discount off normal price up to 10 person. Disclaimer: some of ticketing counter staffs aren’t trained to recognize this apartment residence deal. So make sure to speak to a senior staff. The deal is there for either an apartment owner or renter.nnAll payment inside the park must use a BNI tapcash card (e-money card that can be topped up in value) they costs IDR 20k per card, and refundable at locker counter only at the same day. And oh, there is even a deposit for the “access bangle” (IDR 20k/bangle).nnIf you’re coming with a family member who will not be getting wet, you definitely will need to rent a “cabana” (gazebo) which at weekend costs IDR 300k (100k deposit included) for 4 hrs. There are 2-3 spots with free seating with a table if you’re lucky, as it is always taken ud83dude2c. If you’re coming before mid day, avoid cabana no. 8, 9 and 10 as they are facing the sun and the heat could render the cabana unusable or very uncomfortable to say the least. There is “VIP” Cabanas available at higher rates (IDR 500k with 100k deposit included) but they don’t really worth the price as they come a little bigger and placed along the adult pool. Make sure to check the cabana you’d like to take before paying. There are sand deposits and plants between the cabanas and sometimes stray cats took a dump on those sand and you’ll end up with cat’s feces smell through out your time.nnOrdering food was easy (they got various menu and ordering can be done thru whatsapp) but expect long leadtime. We ordered drinks and 2 french fries, and they come after 1 hr. The portion is quite small for the price. Food pricing is standard for a themepark and not ridiculously overpriced.nnThere are some stalls selling street foods inside the park but the quality is not there and they’re quite overpriced.nnDon’t forget to bring your own towel otherwise it is IDR 25k rental per piece. Locker is also not free and their cost ranges from IDR 25k to 60k.

Not a great waterpark, the staff were very lazy (only 1 was actively working and running around). My friend and I were said to be 20 years old although we were 12, we didn't mind but someone might think it's offensive in some way. Everything is confusing, the normal cabanas are awful (plastic mats) and the VIP cabanas are not any better they're just infront of the pool. Only 2 slides were open / available to the public. The others were either being renovated or the staff didn't bother to turn on the water, so the public couldn't access it. The food counters were very confusing, and here is a tip when ordering food, MAKE ud83dudc4f YOURud83dudc4f ORDERud83dudc4f CLEAR!! My friend order egg rolls, and the girl at the counter said how much (we thought she was saying how many trays because there were 2 of us so my friend said 1 TRAY) and when we got our food she only had 1 egg roll! And we waited atleast 30 minutes for 1 egg roll! They had no toilet paper or paper to dry our hands with. The slides that were available were awful, we kept hitting our heads on the bottom of the slides and there weren't enough water on the slides so we often got slight burns on our skins. It's a scam, I do not recommend this place!
