As of September 16, 2020, when I visited here, the regent's office building had changed its function to the Bappeda office. The old Bappeda office (in front of GOTA, next to the Education Office) has been restored to become a showroom building for the Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) Southeast Maluku Regency.nnThe Regent's office was moved to a new building located on Jalan Raya Langgur-Debut for the benefit of maximum government administration services.nnBappeda then moved its office to the old regent's office building and merged with the Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda) so that the name of the agency is now the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) Southeast Maluku Regency.nnIn September 2020, we together with our KKN friends at Gadjah Mada University had the opportunity to visit the Bappelitbangda office and were received directly by the Head of the Agency at that time, namely Mr. Bernardus Rettob, S.Sos. and the Secretary of the Agency, Mr. Rein Ngabalin.nnThe reception from the Head of Bappelitbangda is very friendly and open. Hopefully this cooperation and good relations can always be maintained in the future.
