/Aloon-aloon/ is the central point of a city. It is where people can consider this place easily. Like EVERYONE IN TOWN M MUST KNOW THIS PLACE. Here is where some big events are conducted such as the anniversary of Kota Pagaralam, celebration of independence day, new years eve, etc. This place is really cool to chill at especially in evening and good to work out at in early morning. Let's come visit! :)

Alun-alun is a square/field located in the city center or a settlement in Indonesia. In the past, the square was used as a gathering place for residents at certain events organized by regents or the government. However, in the present, the square is not only used for government events, but also as a place for public events, hangouts, entertainment venues, or even tourist attractions. Pagaralam has two city squares, this is the first square (also called Lapangan Merdeka Pagaralam), located on the north side of the city, on the roadside between Pagaralam - Bengkulu. The first square is not spacious, but it is shady and cool, because it is surrounded by many trees. This square is often used for sports venues or marching exercises by school students in the vicinity. Many Pagaralam youths like to hang out here. In addition to the shady place, there are many food peddlers around it, so they can hang out while enjoying snacks or ice drinks. On certain dates, sometimes there is a night market or travelling playground (who bring their carousel etc) arrives, which enliven the atmosphere in this small city.nnNice place for hangout and snacking, but be aware of hygiene & typhoid fever, choose your food vendor carefully

Alun-alun is a generic name for city park located (usually) at the center of a city. Because of its strategic location, Alun-alun always being a point of interest especially at holiday. Pagar Alam have 2 Alun-alun, at south and north. Both function as well. Though the park itself here not maintenanced properly, eg: the restroom are not quite representative, garbage are everywhere esp. in the morning.nThere also no free WiFi or charging station.
