I don't really understand how this place has such good reviews. The private room has no aircon, there is no soap, the showers are gross and so were the sheets. The showers have cold water only (not too bad) but are directly next to the toilets so its always wet and messy. Bins with the toilet paper aren't emptied too often. The tours aren't any good, everyone was confused about what tour we are actually doing and eventually we had to pay extra for things. Wouldn't come again.

WARNING BED BUGS! This hostel has a major bed bug infestation and the staff do not care about it. I found fully grown bed bugs on four different bunks in the female and mixed dorms. The guy on reception told me I would find bed bugs in all the bunks if I looked hard enough. He also said they clean the rooms but the bed bugs always come back so what's the point.nnEventually they put me in the private villa as they've not had any issues with bed bugs there.nnAlso do not go on the tour they offer to Bromo and Ijen. The agency they go through have terrible customer service and the drivers are sleazy.

So cheap. But it is a free smoking hostel I think, which is actually very bothersome for people who dont smoke. Not a kind of hostel that i will choose to stay, but the price is very cheap, it includes food for breakfast and dinner.
