Site / Structure of Cultural Heritage (CB) Palace Damnah are historical traces of the Lingga-Riau Sultanate. This palace was built during the time of Sultan Sulaiman Badrul Alam Syah in 1860. This palace became one of several palaces that had been built by the Malay sultanate.

Damnah Palace was built by Sultan Badrul Alamsyah III (1857-1883). At the time of the Malay Malay kingdom, Lingga experienced a period of glory.nDamnah Palace now leaves only debris. Damnah palace site environment is now in the form of land and secondary forests. From the former damnah palace it can still be described that the damnah palace complex used to consist of two buildings namely in the form of a palace and a hall (pendopo).
