One of the most amazing beaches. Must visit in Morotai. The sand at the beach is the softest I’ve ever experienced. Bring insect repellent as there are many bugs. I would also recommend visiting the next island as the views are unparalleled.

The island and sea panoramic view are genuine and fantastic. The air were fresh and clean. There were plenty cottages for rent, but the facility such as cafe, resto, and wifi were not adequate. There was public toilet and douche, but the water a litle bit salty. The seaport could not use for embarcation and debarcation, the visitors would down to the beach by a single long wood instaled from the boat to the beach. People who want to stay in Dodola Island must reservate through the Tourist Board in the Daruba city.

Dodola is completely lack of facilities. That said, its water is indeed pleasant to view and friendly locals do make me feel welcomed. I don't think it is a good sport for diving or snorkeling due to strong currents (according to my boatman) and seemingly lack of corals and coral fish. The so called pasir timbul (mimicking a place of the same name in Raja Ampat) makes Dodola inaccessible during high tides. There is no apparent facility to book a homestay, an official site was reported to have an invalid email domain (meaning it doesn't have mail servers).
