Was okay to stay but when we arrived (after our booking was confirmed) they told us the room we booked wasn’t available and had to go into a better room- BUT at an extra charge to us. We don’t think this is correct as it is their fault. The food from Mama is lovely we had a large feast with chicken, barracuda, calamari, rice vegetables etc. with some other people. It just felt like it was all about getting more money from you unfortunately. Is in a really good location for Medewi only 2 minutes by scooter to the beach.

A great place to stay in Medewi. The owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is really nice and just 2 minutes from the beach.

The rooms are traditionally made with bamboo and wood in such a way as the air blows through. I much prefer this connection to nature than sitting in an air conditioned box. Better in an earthquake too. Showering outside feels great!nnSome of the best boards are available to rent here (Trinity). They can help arrange a scooter too. The cooking is good as well.nnI forgot how relaxing it is here.nEnjoy.

I have mixed feelings staying in this place, based on reviews from all those members with only 'one review' it all said very good, bla bla bla.nnThe fact, i just arrived and one old man wasn't friendly and welcoming at all, maybe because i didn't rent motorbike or take any services from them.nnLater we decided to take a 'pre order dinner' from them which costs 50k, and after, that man became so friendly. Well food tasted good but with 50k, you can have tons of food and more options in nearby restaurant like (warung bagus) or nal's kitchen. Doesn't mean that I'm stingy. I'm happy to pay and support local for 50k, but with that attitude in the beginning, no way.nnNot cool, man.nnRoom itself is okay, don't bother to stay if you can't handle noise. Period.

The best place in whole Bali, i went there not knowing west Bali at all , without any expectation and i found amazing family and the best food in Indonesia. I spent there 5 nights went to travel again and after 2 days I came back for 1 week. If you want experience true Bali just go there :)
