Best way to travel eco friendly through Bali is by bus. :) beware of the many touts at the station. To Denpasar or Singaraya, never pay more than 50k per person. If you're a tourist, some tout will try to collect more money from you in the bus. Ignore him or just pay the 50k, look uninterested and he will let go. The tout will then leave the bus as soon as it departs and give a cut to the driver. Even better: try to give the 50k directly to the driver. Good luck :)

A guy told us to pay 300000, we understood after that we got scammed so we asked the driver and he was just laughing at us! I advise you to pay when the locals are coming in the bus. He was really weird and drived very dangerously. We saw locals paid 50000 with children.

I almost got a scammed there, they push me to use a bus even when i said “no i need a rest” and then they started yelling at me and he really got mad at me, i was like “did i do something wrong?” And then when i say “please don’t push me” and he was super mad, it was really scared me out and i almost started call the police but then he went go to his friends and started saying something bad about me with a bad language and then he pointed on me, like BRUH IF I SAY NO THEN NO, WHY I SHOULD TO USE YOUR BUS? What I really mad is when he said “don’t be like this in bali” i mean what i do? I dont even lay a finger on your or talk to you with a bad word

A miserable welcome to Bali. The touts started as soon as we got off the ferry and would not let up during the short walk to the bus station.nnMy advice is do not listen to any of them. Just walk to the bus station and look for the bus with passengers already on it. If all are empty, just sit and wait until you see a bus starting to load.nnDo not pay anyone except directly to the driver. The locals pay 35k to Denpasar so expect to pay a small premium. (40-45k is more than enough). But pay only to the driver. Do not even bother trying to negotiate with the touts - they are all sons of Satan.

Don't take this way, they ask you to pay the same or more than for a bus from Banyuwangi
