Very nice place to visit. A lot of artworks, paintings, sculptures, even kinetic artworks. And the architecture of the building is very unique. Edwin Gallery was founded in 1984 and is one of the best galleries in Indonesia which has exhibited more than 200 times national and international artists.

Really cool modern art gallery with ever changing shows. I love the little courtyard in the bsck. A side room has old-time paintings of Indonesia to take home too.

I suppose that when they say contemporary Indonesian art this is what they mean: mixed medium pieces, suspended sculptures, and paintings that pop. There are no photos in this review because taking photos of the permanent exhibitions isn't allowed but it may be for the best experience.

Nice space. Not all that much to see though, so if the couple of artists don't interest you, it will be a short visit.
