In the 80s and 90s, the Cukir Post Office was one of the most favorite post offices in Jombang. There are no mobile phones and ATMs plus their location is located in the Cukir area which is the center of the economy (Cukir Market), industry (Sugar Factory), and education (Pesantren Tebuireng), many of which use the Post Office services to send letters and money (money orders) .
