A lovely site, well-restored in the 1980s. The original structure dates to 1248 CE (the death of the second ruler of the Singosari Kingdom, Anusapati), but some parts faded and other parts were removed (such as the central statue, now in the Royal Museum of the Tropics in the Netherlands).nnThe caretaker is lovely, and welcomes guests to make a donation at their discretion for the upkeep of the grounds when they sign the guestbook. The only complaint for foreign guests is that all the explanatory information is presented only in Indonesian.

Good place to learn history of Singhasari Kingdom. This place is well cared and the keeper is a knowledgeable lady
