Alor Beach Front Bungalows

This could be a very nice resort. But the staff working there doesn't know anything about hospitality and service. You'll get the key of the bungalow and that's it. Bungalow is very basic and they don't provide a mosquito net. For changing towels, bed linen or empty the trash bin in front of the bungalow you have to ask. Water is limited. Sometimes no water available. Keep the Mandi always full. Otherwise it can happen you are out of water for shower and toilet. Breakfast very poor. One week every morning an omelette. Fried rice or instant noodles without eggs. Sometimes only a donut or fried banana. Even for a coffee you have to ask. Biggest problem: No management attention. During 16 days staying there I didn't see any manager. Staff doesn't speak English.

These bungalows are great! It has everything one need for a great vacation, those who complained about the shower clearly are unrealistic about the reality of Indonesia. Alor is just not the place for such crowd, they belong in Bali.nnWe enjoyed....n- beachfront access to great reefs, where we snorkeled hours on hoursn- excellent (and reasonably priced) food prepared by the staffn- joining the fishermen on their trips right in front of the accommodationnnThis place is basic but clean, convenient, and affordable. Enjoy this hidden gem while it’s available and stop complaining about it.

They provide a dirty fan in bedroom, no mosquito net, dirty bathroom with its mandy and broken jet spray. Thank God that my boyfriend got a service call thus we cancelled the booking after a couple hours with cancellation fee.

Also called TSAP.nnAmazing location and snorkelling bumps them up to a 3.nnThe room was big, but this government run place seem to have missed a trick: money has clearly been spent on well made deeply uncomfortable balcony furniture. The landscaping of the whole place is weird - again effort made but missed the mark with overuse of tyres and uncomfortable seating. The food is unpredictable and mostly average, but worst is the litter:nnStraws, cigarette butts, litter is not collected and strewn everywhere. Bins on the beachfront (which is broken coral not sand. Not their fault obviously - just saying!) would be a good start. Cleaning around the bungalows too.nnThat said, a good place to snorkel and chill and there's not much choice so I wouldn't not recommend.
