This campground has gravel sites. The sites on the inside of the loop are longer and more level. Sites along the outside are shorter, harder to get into, and less level. The cleaning in the bathhouse is not good at all. Be sure to where flip flops when showering. There is only electric hookup available. Five stars to the helpful hosts and to the raccoon antics! (Guard your food!)

Great spot by the dam with a nice beach area for swimming. Nice restrooms with showers and the campground was nice and well maintained.

This is our second favorite campground at Red Rock Lake. We usually camp at Howell Station, but North Overlook Campground is nice too. We had shade most of the day. That was good as it was nearly 100°! Shade and the lake view site made things much nicer ud83dude0e They are closing in August for plumbing upgrades. Hopefully they will update and expand the restroom and shower facilities as they can become overwhelmed when the campground is full.
