Newhalem Campground

Great central location in The North Cascades National Park. Several trails off the campground for easy hiking. Facilities looked new and were well maintained. The groups sites looked even better than the great individual sites.

7/13/2020 - Gorgeous campground! Had a spacious spot in loop B that backed up to the forest. No hook ups but nice bathrooms. Struggled to back in our 30 foot RV but the beauty of the campground was worth it. Great location near the visitor center and the rest of the National Park. Hope to stay here again!

Very nice campground conveniently close to the Park Visitor Center. 4 out 5 stars rating only because there isn't a facility for taking showers (comparing to other national and state parks that have a pay system to shower). Restroom buildings had 2 or 3 Flushing toilets and 2 sinks. Soap dispensers were filled daily.

We had spot 16 in loop A and it was very shady during most of the day. Only had one tent pad. If you want two tent pads spot 25 in loop A has 2. Beautiful and the bathrooms were always clean and smelled good. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes.
