Could I say that the sky is bluer; the trees, greener and the stars, brighter... actually yes, yes and yes. I found myself staying at the park after an unexpected job change, so my needs were more pragmatic than most. But over last several months, I saw time and time again what a great RV park this is. The owners are kind, and the location is beautiful. The park has tons of things for families to use along with unique activities based on the season. I would definitely recommend Rose Point Park whenever you are in the area.

It being off-season we weren't able to take advantage of amenities like the pool, but our site was fine, clean upon arrival. The camp store was well-stocked, clean, and staff helpful. They had an excellent selection of parts for campers. My dog very much enjoyed his first camping trip. One issue was the store's firewood was not dried well. The bundling company claims it's kiln dried, but I seriously question that. I live nearby in New Castle and I will definitely recommend for visiting friends and family in the future.

Great little cabins! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they let us come in after hours to the cabin and helped us to our spot when we got there. Definitely worth the visit if you're at mines and meadows at park

This is a wonderful place for camping.nMy husband and I have been here twice and will continue to come back. The grounds are kept clean. The large pool is so relaxing, the camp store is nice and convenient. The dog enclosure is great for your fur babies. The owners and visitors have all been very friendly.

Me and my boyfriend and our dog stayed in a Yurt back in September, and we both LOVED it. The yurt was adorable. I had never even heard of one until we stayed here. It got a little chilly at night, but we brought heavy blankets just for that reason. We loved it so much we decided to add another night to our stay. They even have a dog park for your four legged babies. That’s so convenient since my pup loves to run around. He loved it, even though he never had a friend in there to play with. It’s still nice even for a single dog.nThe staff was all very friendly and courteous since I assume the place is family owned. They even live on site with a horse and a donkey, which are right next to the yurts. We got to pet them and feed them apples. I’d give them more than 5 stars if you could just for that.nThe store there has everything you need, and a little more. The only thing I disliked was that the store closed so early. But other than that, everything was great.nThere is some awesome scenic places to visit nearby, too. There’s an old bridge right down the street that is worth the short walk to go and see. There is also a couple state parks nearby, too. My favorite was McConnells Mill State Park. We visited the mill, Hell’s Hollow, Cleland rock, and other sights in the park that is absolutely worth going to. It’s very scenic and absolutely beautiful.nRose Point is by far the best campground I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was friendly, the other campers were friendly, and it was just a beautiful place all around. If we go back, we will definitely stay in a yurt again. It was a great experience and I absolutely recommend staying in one. 10/10.
