Oregon Inlet Campground

I am a single homeschooling mom with 4 boys. We love history but live on a budget. This campground was awesome!! We tent camped 2 nights and have no complaints. It was comfy. The spaces were far apart. It was absolutely beautiful behind the dunes. Dont forget a flashlight it gets SUPER dark at night.

They don't answer the phone at this place but they are so nice once you are here. This place is a gem and located in a great place. The group sites do not have power or water but every other site does. We were here during hurricane Terry and it was still fun camping in a tent.

Absolutely loved our stay here!!nnIt was a tad windy so we slept in our car versus the tent we brought but the location was incredible! Basically sleeping on the beach - bathrooms were clean, park rangers were super nice, shower water was the perfect temperature.nnWill 100% stay here again if we ever come back to NC.

This is a very convenient place to camp if doing local kayaking adventures. Do not expect a quiet campground as generators are allowed. Or you might end up next to a fighting couple all night like we did. It's about a 100 yd walk to the beach and the beach is absolutely beautiful. Watching the Sun come up was an amazing highlight.

More crowded than I thought for a November trip- that's a good thing, eh? Beautiful weather made for a wonderful stay. Clean bathroom & shower makes this an A-class place. Wonderful for RVing.
