Steele Creek Park & Family Campground

Excellent campground. The staff is super nice and helpful and they keep a really clean campground. I highly recommend this campground to anyone who wants a fun, safe family campground. Unfortunately the waterslide and diving boards are now gone but there will be new activities to enjoy before much longer. Make sure you reserve your camping spot early because they will be filling up in no time. Steele Creek is the best campground in the area you guys must check it out!

Beautiful campground. The river was beautiful with visible fish to look at. I see why this place is such a draw in the summer. Quite easy to get to and nice customer service as the gentlemen met us outside and showed us to our campsite, helping us back up and everything. No AT&T cell service but I was okay with that. Very weak WiFi signal (even being closer to the office) as well but it's camping in a beautiful spot so I enjoyed that instead of daily technology. Great central location as well.

Loved my time at Steele Creek. Great creek sounds helped me sleep like a baby. Kids loved it too. Best campground I've been in for a while. No negatives. Period. 10 out of 10 experience.

The campground was clean, had facilities for tents and campers alike. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Wouldn't recommend sites A1 and A2 since the putt putt course was right above those. Nice creek to explore.

First time in 40 years back to Steel Creek. It was fun then and fun now. This is a pet friendly, family friendly generational campground. Lots of camping room and spaces for motor homes. I will be back with my grandchildren. Thank you for the memories
