Absolutely beautiful! We had such a great experience. Definitely going back! Some quick points below.n- camping spaces aren't that big, but you can definitely fit your car, tent, ez up, etc. They also all have a fire pit and picnic tablen- the hiking trail we went on was a bit difficult at points, some very steep points, or having to climb up some rocksn-seems like all camping spaces are very close to water and bathrooms, including a sink to wash your dishes and showers

been going there for a very long time.great hiking trails, dogs should not be allowed because they bark all day, they tell you to come check in at 2 p.m. now and then make you wait 2 more hrs, did not check in till 4pm. I guess they had a sweep the dirt out of the campsite, the only good thing about this trip is that a bear came right into my camp site he was very cool black bear.

Nice campground with lots of amenities. The lakes and beaches add to a wonderful stay. The fire places are very nice for cooking on or just watching a fire at night. Some campsites are not a flat as might be desired but there's usually enough room to get at least one tent in. There are plenty of staff around for whatever you need. No boat rentals this year or firewood at the campground but there are plenty of places leading up to the park as well as a Stewart's shop with wood for sale.

Wow! Very nice tent sites! Large sites. There is minimal to no Verizon cell service (You can get 3 bars Verizon 2 minutes before reaching the check in gate). Latest check in at 9pm. Picnic tables & grill (used as fire pit). Close to Escarpment trail, katerskill falls trail, artist rock... trail access from campground. $10 to spend the day if you don’t want to stay overnight. BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD due to covid they are not selling firewood onsite. Lots of local firewood on your drive into campground $10/bundle or $8 from Stewart’s (also on the way to campsite). Showers are CLEAN & LARGE! Two beaches with bathrooms/showers to swim. Very family friendly. Even with a FULL campground the tent sites are SUPER spaced out that you feel very safe. Multiple water spigots with water that tastes great!

Awesome campground.nnI got a campsite right on the water (143) and it made for a spectacular evening. The raised fire pit is nice for cooking food. Sunset and subsequent stars over the lake were beautiful.nnWorth going a bit out of the way or paying a bit more to reserve a spot here for sure.
