Maximilian Restaurant (German-Indonesian Food Selection)

If you are looking for real German/Austrian cuisine in Yogyakarta, look no more. Maximilian is the place to go. Great bratwurst. Live music needs major improvement, though. Very kind and attentive staff. Cream chicken soup was superb. Price was reasonable. Parking lot too small for 3 cars. They also serve potato, buttered rice, vegetables. Thank you Maximilian for giving us great evening!

I love this place as i came through the door.. Great ambience, cozy place, and as homey as you can see.. When we did iftar together, they served well.. The food was various, and the taste was great as well.. The didn't forget to fill it up when it's almost empty.. they also helped us a lot as we brought our kids there.. Oh, almost forgot..many thanks for the security who welcomed us early in the parking lot.. He opened the door nicely n kindly helped my lil daughter out of car.. Thanks, pak..

Nice spot for good food and instead of taking photos. It has all you can eat menu around afternoon up to 2pm.

Probably the best place for western food/fancy food in the area. Not too many options to choose from but very pleasant environment and reasonable prices.
