General Van Heutsz received reports from his spies about the arrival of Teuku Umar at Meulaboh, and immediately placed a number of fairly strong troops on the Meulaboh border. On the eve of February 11, 1899 Teuku Umar and his troops arrived in the suburbs of Meulaboh. The Acehnese were surprised when Van Heutsz's troops intercepted. The position of Umar's army was unfavorable and it was not possible to retreat. The only way to save his troops is to fight. In the battle Teuku Umar was killed by enemy bullets that pierced his chest.nnHis body was buried at the Kampung Mugo Mosque in the Upper Meulaboh River. Hearing the news of her husband's death, Cut Nyak Dhien was very sad, but that did not mean the struggle was over. With the death of her husband, Cut Nyak Dhien was determined to continue the struggle of the Acehnese people against the Dutch. He also took over the leadership of the Aceh resistance fighters

What I got from here was Tengku Umar, a hero from Aceh who fought by pretending to collaborate with the Dutch and was famous for his guerrilla war strategy. But unfortunately its location has begun to deteriorate around cemeteries or lack of care.
