Nandini Jungle Resort and Spa Bali

My partner and I had our first visit to Bali. We chose Nandini for it's seclusion and beautiful villas. During our three nights we stayed in a Jungle Royal Suite, the king bed and the sound of the jungle made for a perfect night's sleep. The deep stone bath is situated under cover whilst being outside, which means you can enjoy the outdoors whilst relaxing. Out of all the pleasures the resort has to offer, fresh food, a spa that will make you pass out whilst getting a massage to the sounds of a waterfall, a pool with a view of the jungle, the people and staff are ultimately the best assist this resort has. They are always piolet, always smiling and love a conversation. Please stay at this resort.

My girlfriend and I booked the Spa by the River a few months in advance as we were staying off sight. We had a confirmation email, and I even emailed a second time when our trip was approaching to ensure that everything was in order. When we arrived, the staff was obviously unaware that we were coming. We had to wait almost an hour after our scheduled time as they scrambled to put staff together. The spa treatment was OK, and the masseurs were very friendly, but the rest of the staff were stand offish about the whole situation. In the end, no apologies were given which is what upset us. In the service industry mistakes do happen and we respect that, but we were disappointed with the way the staff went about handling the situation and their lack of transparency.

The resort is managed by a lovely man, Iwan. He is a great host and takes great pride in his role at the resort. The staff at Nandini are attentive, friendly and genuine. The grounds are incredible: clean pool, beautiful jungle villas, pristine gardens and picturesque views. All meals are cooked fresh daily and are very delicious. We particularly loved the authenticity of Indonesian dishes prepared by the chefs. The turn down service was great. The room was prepared for a comfortable nights rest.nnWe look forward to our return!
