A good stay and surf

** BEST CHOICE IF YOU LOOK FOR A NICE VILLA NEAR THE SURFSPOTS IN MEDEWI**nnI stayed in the Fins Villa Medewi for 4 nights.nnThe Fins Villa Medewi is in a prime location in the local residential area on a smaller, less frequented street. Quiet and located in the green with some local houses between rice fields.nnNevertheless, the location is central. A scooter is an advantage, but not absolutely necessary. Along the road are several small shops where you can buy coffee, snacks and cigarettes. Likewise, countless local warungs and restaurants are within walking distance. It is only a few minutes by scooter or 15 minutes to walk to the Medewi Point with the well-known surf spot and some restaurants. The route is very safe and only a short distance along the main road.nnFor scooters or cars there is a covered parking space with a lockable gate.nnThe beautiful villa has been recently built and is well equipped. I especially liked the many decorations and details in the Balinese style. The living room with the open kitchen and the upper open room provide plenty of air and make the building very large.nnThere are many sockets distributed throughout the villa - I've missed that in so many places in Southeast Asia so far, and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are big and the beds very comfortable.nnTwo of the rooms are air-conditioned and have a great view of the sunrise. The upwardly open, spacious shower is a very special experience, which I enjoyed very much with the heat on Bali. In the kitchen I could make my coffee in the morning or cook something if necessary. Gas stove, pans and dishes are available. A canister of free refill water was provided free of charge.nnAt the dining table or in the sitting area in the living room, it is easy to relax, work or even do some research for the further journey.nnThe private pool is big and deep enough to swim. Stairs make it easier to get in and it is also nice to relax on. I could switch on and off the spray nozzles and light by myself.nnAs a surfer, I especially loved the proximity to the surf spots and the surf spots themselves are awesome. Medewi is the longest left wave of Bali, which I could not miss. Overall, Medewi is a very relaxed place away from the party tourism of Canggu or Kuta. The locals are friendly and the vibe in the line up always good. And the waves - they are always running ;-)nnIn the villa, there are board racks in the parking lot as well as in the living room to store the boards safely.nnThe garden and pool area is beautifully landscaped with plants and stones. Overall, the villa, the pool and the garden are very clean and well maintained. The owner couple is very friendly and nice. I felt warmly welcomed at the Fins Villa Medewi and for sure I will book it again on my next visit.nnTHANK YOU VERY MUCH AGUS & AYU
