Semarang State University Library is a faculty implementation element that functions to support education, research and community service programs. Semarang State University Library provides various kinds of library materials such as text books, scientific journals, theses, references that can be traced either manually, or through computers and other materials related to the curriculum. Library collections can be borrowed or can only be read on the spot. The Semarang State University Library also features a fairly representative reading room, so it is hoped that it can increase the comfort of visitors or library members. Semarang State University Library Management is under the Head of the Semarang State University Library Unit.

Semarang state university's science house is a new library built with a 5 laitai building. Its location is very strategic because it is located on both sides of the entrance and exit of the West University campus. Geographically this building faces west, on the north side there is the faculty of language and art, on the south side there is the faculty of mathematics and science on the east side there is the KWU unnes building

Locker rooms, book references, multimedia, book loans, student scientific papers, reading rooms, are all well organized. A charging center is available

The place is quiet.
