This aquarium is so much fun. I particularly loved the spotlight on the naughty penguins. They were the cutest thing to see. I also liked the gift shop. It had lots to choose from and a great selection of tee shirts and hoodies. I also loved the beach it was next to. The photos we took and the beauty of the beach are truly breathtaking.

Had a very cool and find visit here. Awesome little aquarium set up and map to follow around the whole complex. My son (2 yrs old) loved it! Definitely worth a visit when you are here in Napier. Good, resonable entry fees. Lots of cool and amazing exhibitions. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommended activity!

Being the national aquarium, I thought it would have been bigger, but still, lots of fish and other marine animals to see!

Definitely worth a visit. We paid $23 per adult and the aquarium was totally worth it. We got up close with a penguin who was quite friendly and swam up to us. We learnt a lot about sea life and got to see Terry the sea turtle. The undersea experience was amazing as the fish swim around and over you. The sharks and sting rays were our highlight there. They had sea horses, puffer fish and super cool walking fish with wings!! Highly recommend the aquarium for adults and children alike. A very enjoyable experience.
