Not used airport anymore. The parking lot is then used for driving license practical exam. The place is still good and near Udayana jogging park.

The airport is already closed but for sports, the photos here are good ... For those who like to run, there are recommendations for running here

Selaparang Airport is an airport that has been inactive since Friday, September 30, 2011, this airport is now often used as a place for large events and sometimes also used as a venue for weddings, this place is also very good as a place for prewed photos but the place is very poorly maintained so it looks untidy ,, Selaparang Airport was reopened on 7 April 2014 after previously being closed for 3 years, for the benefit of the Bali International Flight Academy (BIFA) flight school and Lombok Institute Flight Technology (LIFT). According to Wikipedia: Selaparang Airport (IATA: AMI, ICAO: WADA) (Selaparang International Airport) is an airport located in the city of Mataram, Lombok and the airport was officially closed on Friday on September 30, 2011. The airport, which opened in 1995, is no longer functioned as a transit center for air transportation. Flight activity was stopped at 18:00 WITA. Instead, air transportation services are diverted to Lombok International Airport.

This should be a tourist spot ... rather than idle

Previously the main airport in Lombok, now the field is used for flight schools and the Indonesian Air Force.
