Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

Very rare place in Singapore where you can go for both hiking and biking

The tallest hill in Singapore at 163 metres high, this is the place for fitness and nature freaks, not for the faint at heart! If you just want to relax in the canopy of trees, you can come here, but beware of the monkeys! Wildlife is great and all information about the wildlife and trees there are available at the path

Really great. Something we must conserve at all cost since it's our last remaining piece of primary jungle in a hill setting. The educational signs are illuminating and easy to understand. The climb to the top is tough but rewarding as there's so much to see and enjoy along the way. It's great that things are left as they are eg fallen trees, leaf litter etc just as it is in the wild.

A place where you can get close with nature, quick escape from city life. There are different hiking routes to choose in order to get to the peak. Make sure to check the map for direction before walk too far away from destination. Get a bit crowded during weekend and public holiday. May come earlier to avoid the crowd.

A great place to get back to nature, take in some views, breathe some fresh air and spot some naughty monkey antics. We took the 'Easy' route, but don't let that put you off - there were many different fitness level paths to choose from for the more adventurous climber.
