Widodo was our driver on Sunday 18 from 11am to 11 pm. We had a wonderful full day visiting Lake Maninjau, Bukittinggi and Sianok Canyon.nWidodo is a very good driver and a very nice person. He is mature, calm, kind and efficient.nThe road from Lake Maninjau to Bukittinggi is known as Kelok 44, which is the number of sharp bends all the way up the mountain. We felt completely safe while he was driving.nOn our way back to Padang we wanted to taste fish and had a delicious dinner at a restaurant he suggested.nAlso, he was extremely helpful with our next destination. From Padang in West Sumatra we needed to organize a 4-hour transfer from Medan airport to Bukit Lawang in North Sumatra. We knew it could be tricky to find a good service at a good price at Medan airport, so we asked for his help and through his network he contacted a driver who picked us on our arrival and took us straight to Bukit Lawang for a very fair price.nWe strongly recommend Widodo as your driver in Padang and Western Sumatra.nnPaola Spinozzi and Jorge BurnsnItaly and England
