Campsites very tight. Restrooms were locked at 7pm. Not cool. Grass was very long, making the mosquito problem worse. Laundry room was locked (with a padlock) the 3 times I tried to use it to dry some wet jeans. Very pretty Live oaks and hanging moss throughout. Walking distance to Driftwood Beach. Would we stay here again? Doubtful.

Absolutely wonderful campground! I enjoyed the bird and squirrel sanctuary! They do a good job at keeping the place up and the shower houses aren’t to bad. We will definitely be back. The only complaint I would have is that the store doesn’t have any food besides some marshmallows and some candy, it’s mainly things for an RV/camper and souvenirs.

Beautiful! We tent camp and if you can make do without electricity, the primitive sites are quiet, private, incredibly spacious and beautiful! The Spanish moss hanging from the trees all around is just gorgeous. There’s a bird watching site back in the primitive area too that is fun to see the birds. Camp hosts very friendly. Restrooms nothing fancy but kept clean. Definitely bring the bug spray and be sure to throw garbage out and lock food away... raccoons and squirrels are quite bold! Quick drive to driftwood beach (or you can walk) for gorgeous sunrise or head across the street from the campground to the pier for a beautiful sunset.nThis was our second camping trip here and we will definitely be back again.nPS: was definitely easy to social distance during the week in August. Can’t speak to how crowded weekends might be. But the camp hosts do wear masks and signs about hand washing, keeping distance, etc were in the campground too so it was nice to see they are taking precautions.

We love Jekyll Island Campground! This is one of our favorite family spots, and we have campers we rent out that we delivery often as well. It is our #1 recommendation to our renters! The office staff and everyone that works there is always friendly and accommodating!

Great campground! Great island! Was here for 4 days and so much to see, never left the island. The staff at the campground was top notch and extremely helpful and accommodating! Definitely coming back.
