Tirai Sains's Reading House is a reading house with the concept of a fun library that was established with the aim to develop the reading and life-skill interests of the people of Krapyak Pucangan Kartasura village. The form of the house reading the curtain of knowledge is the village library. With the support of KKN students from the English literature department of IAIN Surakarta and residents, the Curtains of the Sciences of Reading house was established on October 9, 2015. The idea came to light because of the many changes taking place in the community, especially children.
