The service is good... the room is neat and clean. Parking lot area is quite large... but there are some problems with AC, TV, AND amenities

favemex hotel Surabaya is two star hotel from Archipelago International Group. It is located in the city center of Surabaya. Very close to one of the biggest mall in Surabaya, Tunjungan Plaza and in front of Boncafe Pregolan. This hotel has restaurants, Gym, in-room Spa also. They have 3 rooms categories, standard, superior and suite rooms. I booked the standard room but when I checked in the receptionist said that they upgraded my room to Superior due to the full booked standard rooms, since I check in at night. But when I arrived at my room I don’t think it’s Superior, I think it’s standard room, based on the picture on their website. No deposit needed when check in just for your information. Basic toiletries available, one pair of slipper, no coffee and tea maker, even the coffee and tea itself. Just two glasses and one jar that you can refill by water in the corridor of each level. The TV is a bit old, bcs somehow the remote is not perfectly function, but they comes with International TV Channels. Overall is so so for it’s prices. Anyway, in this pandemic situation, I suggest you maintain your own safety, because they didn’t do temperature check when guest arrived, I don’t know the rest procedures, but they provide hand sanitizers in many areas like check in areas.
