Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science

This is one of the faculties of Mataram University. It is also called as FMIPA. It is adjacent to engineering, law, agriculture and the farm faculty. FMIPA also known as one of the quiet faculty because the student is not much. It is consists of 4 departements, mathematics, physics, biology and chemists. There are three building with main building in the center. Each building consists of three floors. In the main building, there is administration room, head departements room, lobby, hall on the third floor, and seminar room. The south building consist of laboratoriums of all departements, but in the corner of first floor, there is Photocopy & ATK stand. And the north building consist of lectures room and lecturer rooms. Out of the building, there is caffetaria and small convenient store Warung Waqaf. Our caffetaria is very famous amkng the student and the lectures. A lot of student and lecturers from other faculty come here just for foods and drinks. Because our caffetaria is very cozy and the foods is delicious. We have 2 parking area, front yard and back yard. In front yard only lecturers and head departements and head of faculty can park their vehicles there. And we student park in the backyard. But actually the backyard is beautifull and cozy, because there are several tall and shady trees and we also feel more safe to put our motorcycle there rather than in front yard. In the roof of south building, there is green house of biology departements. But there is not much plants in there because it still in progress. There is also a small library in this faculty, but we can not borrow the book. We can only read it on the spot. If you want to borrow any book, just go to the main library of Mataram University. In here a lot of round table and seat provided, and it is usually become the favorite spot for student to study and discuss with their friend or even with the lecturers. The college activity usually start from 7 am till 4 pm, but a lot of student stay there longer to do their research or organization activities. For the cafetaria open 'till 5 pm. So, thats all about my faculty.
