Utopia is a nature surrounded eco lodge, located on top of a hill with a stunning view over the valley and the sea. My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon trip and we felt incredibly welcome from the very first moment. Dinner is very special, since it will give you the chance to socialize with the the other guests and the Utopia family. Food is truly excellent and unique, as it blends Indonesian traditions with other cultures (the owners are Italian globetrotters). Besides the amazing stay, it’s worth mentioning the very important work Mario and his family are doing to support Rote’s growth while preserving its ecosystem and sustainability. We left Utopia happy, inspired and looking forward to get back.
