A small and simple place right by the river in the middle of the jungle. Here we met the owner Andy, his wife and small group of staff who are all so nice and sympathetic that you instantly feel at home. We went on a 2 day trekking in the jungle to see the wild orangutans and we were not disappointed. The whole trip was guided by the lighthearted guide Eddy and his apprentice Panca, who really knew a lot about the flora and fauna of the jungle and made you feel safe.nAt the guesthouse people gathered around during the night and played and sang music.nAt Junia, you feel like a part of the small jungle village, which for us was a unique experience.

Stay in Junia Guest House is really nice. The view is really nice. The room and the bathroom is so clean and neat. The owner is kind. Breakfast is ready to serve and no need to wait too long. The combination of the river view and its landscape creates a good ambients for my healing time. Suit for honeymoon or just family retreats. Recommended. The price is also good and agreeable. Loved.

The most kindhearted, welcoming and sweet people I’ve met in Indonesia. It didn’t just feel like a guesthouse, but also like a home away from home. The rooms were clean, the staff was really helpful and the restaurant had good Indonesian and western food.nThe multiple day jungle tour we booked at theirs was amazing, the guide really knew his way around the jungle and treated the nature and animals with a lot of respect. Whatever your wish is, they’ll go out of their way to make it happen. Even drove us all the way back to the the airport. Worth every penny, which weren't that mant pennies in the first place anyways.
