Amazing guesthouse that offers treks that are very considerate towards keeping the animals wild. Great jungle views!

It was a great experience. Dony and Tamrin were our guides. They are both very knowledged and respectful to a nature persons.nWe were a three elders, and the guys do their best to care and help us. At first they organised a one day tour only for three of us without any extra charge.nThen later, when we occationaly had a problems with the most big and aggressive female oranghutan Mina, which came to us to claim a food, the guys had protected us like a tigers, in the same time trying not to hurt her, despite Dony was bited by the ape about four times. (!)nGuys, you are the real guides. Thank you so much.

A lovely stay of six nights at Green Hill with my wife and two children. We originally planned on three nights but the staff was so warm and helpful that it was hard to leave. Andrea was a source of much biological wisdom and invited my family to the Sunday Nature Camp, which she runs at a nearby village out of the goodness of her heart. Great to see the local kids, as well as my own, experience this dynamic activity which fused nature, art and English. It is evident Andrea has worked hard to integrate into the community and to improve sustainability. I suspect she has a heart of gold. Do not miss the river near Base Camp: it could possibly be the nicest place I've ever been.

Had a great stay here and experienced the true wildlife during the discovery track. We this this the whole first day and on the second day went back to bukit lawang to see some semi wild orang utans which was a stunning experience. We had awesome and friendly guides who knew all the secret spots away from the crowds so we were able to watch the orang utans quite undisturbed in their natural habitat. Also the food during the tracking was great. Who wants to do something for the local region and have a respectful guide who is aware of the environment and does not feed to monkeys this is the place to go.
