Garden Inn & Restaurant

Originally booked 2 nights at the garden inn but decided to extend! The rooms are really well laid out with beautiful views of the jungle and river. The staff are so friendly, and are willing to help with any questions. The restaurant has tasty food (the best omelettes) and is open all day! You can also book onward travel here. We also did the two day jungle trek which I highly recommend! Our guide Ian was so great, and so knowledgeable about the Orangutans and other animals in the jungle. The food on the trek was amazing (sorry I forgot the chefs name). It has been the best trek I've done in Asia and I'd do it all over again! Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

As soon as we got to The Garden Inn, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Made us feel welcome straight away. Rooms are lovely with balcony looking into the jungle. Had a great 2 day 1 night trek in the jungle aswell, with our tour guide Ian. Very informative and was really great with the orangutans we saw in the jungle. All in all a nice guy. Definitely recommend him. Great experience over all

Nice place in Bukit Lawang with great views over the river and to the jungle. The staff is nice and the food in the restaurant is tasty.

Beautiful jungle views from the balcony, huge room with comfi bed and romantic little lights, dramatic rock walls in de bathroom and delicious food at the restaurant. Lots of vegan options!

Great cute Hotel! No AC though.. after one or two nights you get used to it. Delicious food and great quality! We took Guide Eru for the orang utan trek, great stay!
