I didn’t stay at the lodge so can’t comment but I have experienced a trekking tour in Sumatra with Leli and he is a genuine and passionate guide. I always felt safe in a difficult environment and he’s really good fun to be around. If his lodge has half the qualities that he does, then I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. I hope to experience it one day.

What an incredible place. The Guesthouse is incredible but the most impressive thing about this place is the people. Leli is one of the most genuine and honest people I have ever had the joy of meeting. If you are so lucky as to have the chance to spend some time with him or at SOUL Guesthouse, you must. One of the most memorable times/experiences in my life. Thank you Leli and the SOUL Guesthouse for continuing to go above and beyond.

The whole experience was fantastic. I cannot recommend Leli and the guys highly enough. They were fantastic guides, great entertainers and most importantly they made my wife and I feel extremely safe in the jungle.

I had no experience with this place, but Leli was our guide on a previous occasion last year in the jungle, and without a doubt it was the best time of my life. Food was fantastic made by Leli and his helper, great knowledge was being shared by him about the forest, and we just felt secure. It was fantastic. Only recommended!

We booked a multi day jungle trek with Leli, he was amazing and we had such a great experience with him as our guide. Sharing the jungle with the orangutans for 3 days was such a special opportunity.
