Gion Station

I've never actually got on or off the subway from here but looking back at this photo, I was inexplicably sitting down. I'm sure that it didn't last long but I'm sure that 30 seconds was fantastic. I was on my way home from a motorcycle trip in Kagoshima...just a bit more fun than a 'last day of the season parking lot party' at Brighton.

These directional signage are useful for non-local visitors.

A bit confusing why they set up an underground station so near to Hakata station as you can easily walk to there. In addition there is also a kilometer long underground tunnel as a passageway. I recommend rather walking from Hakata station and exploring the surrounding area.

Nice station for visiting many temples

Subway is neat and clean. Subway in Japan is very famous. If you read the maps carefully, you are never lost. It will guide you to the place. After going to plateform, you need nit to worry whether your left or right plateform will lead to your train. Just see at the pillar near to escalator. It will show your train and destination stations. The trains are old and make comparatively more noise as compared to Delhi Metro. The trains are full of advertisement written in Japanese.
