Built in 1906, it's part of Keraton Amantubillah Mempawah. Most of its part was built using bullian or Borneo ironwood (Wood from Eusideroxylon zwageri). Despite being over a century old, this mosque is still well preserved.

The Jamiatul Khair Mosque is located not far from the Amntubillah Mempawah palace, and is still within the palace area. Located beside the river, it certainly makes the view from inside the mosque extraordinary. As for when worshiping inside, it feels comfortable and cool because the open windows make the wind enter the room. It's so cool!

The mosque is located in the palace area Amantubillah Mempawah district. Located on an inland island not far from the main building of the palace. The building is still original nuances of Malay with a foundation and pillars of wood typical of Malay buildings. Cool atmosphere, and directly overlooking the banks of the river crater.

The mosque is always cold in hot environmental conditions, the circulation of air to and from the river is very influential, prayer in the mosque certainly gives its own peace.
